Welcome to Chengdu

Welcome my hometown, Chengdu, a beautiful city with 4000-year history, which is located in the center of China, generally called "The land of abundance" for its pleasant climate and geography. The fertile Chengdu Plain is a basin with bowl-shaped mountains around, resulting in the gentle wind and humid, mild climate over four seasons.
Chengdu is not the economic center of China, so people here is not as busy as people in Beijing or Shanghai, they are always free to have fun. Chengdu is famous for tea house. Tea house is the place people in Chengdu would like to spend most of their time to stay. there are at least 3 tea houses on one street, if someone in Chengdu don't like to go to tea house, he is described as "a person don't know how to enjoy life". Entertainment in tea house is not only drinking tea, but also playing poker and "majiang"(a kind of game which is popular in China especially in Chengdu). The inhabitants in Chengdu have a reputation in China for having a laid-back attitude and for knowing how to enjoy life.
